BHETA’s second Homebase “Meet the Buyer” day takes place on Thursday 25th March 2021 by way of Zoom link.
We are delighted to announce that BHETA has secured a second “Meet the Buyer Day” initiative this time with one of the industry’s major Home Improvement retailers Homebase. Currently at an exciting stage in their strategic development and growth plans Homebase are keen to engage with suppliers.
Who should attend?
We are delighted to announce that BHETA has secured a second “Meet the Buyer” event by way of Zoom link, with one of the industry’s major Home Improvement retailers Homebase on Thursday 25th March 2021.
Homebase are keen to engage with suppliers who can supply the following products:
- Decorating Accessories
- Paint
- Wallpaper
- Cleaning Sundries:
- Eco cleaning
- Chemicals
- Mops
- Vacuums
- Steam mops
- Irons
- Window vacuums
Currently at an exciting stage in their strategic development and growth plans, Homebase are keen to engage with suppliers who can complement their existing range, and help benefit customers with their home improvement projects.
Who will attend from Homebase?
Representatives from the commercial teams will be in attendance including Buyers for the following product categories – Decorating Accessories, Paint, Wallpaper and Cleaning Sundries (eco cleaning chemicals, mops, vacuums, steam mops, irons, window vacuums). What should I bring and how long do I have?
Each supplier can bring two people and will be allocated a 20-minute appointment with the relevant buyer. Suppliers are able to book additional appointments if they have products relevant for other categories. Homebase urges suppliers to concentrate on the features and benefits of their products, supported by cost price proposals.
If it is online what will I need?
A suitable device (laptop or computer) within built camera and internet access. The joining instructions will be forwarded nearer the time.
How will it work?
You will be allocated a specific meeting time with an agreed buyer; it is recommended that you join the event 15 mins prior to your time and register after which you will be placed into a virtual holding room and then called for your meeting.
Cost?
Member rate: £45.00+VAT
Non-member rate: £149.00+VAT, if it’s your first BHETA Meet the Buyer event
Non-member rate: £199.00+VAT, if you have attended a prior BHETA Meet the Buyer event
(Payment by non-members must be received no later than Wednesday 17th March)

Booking terms:
- In the event of over-subscription, BHETA member places will be allocated on a first come first served basis per buyer.
- Participation in BHETA’s ‘Meet the Buyer’ events is solely for UK suppliers, manufacturers and distributors.
- BHETA will not confirm non-member bookings until 1st March at the earliest, as priority booking goes to BHETA members.
