Jane Ryder joins BHETA's DIY Committee

Vice President and General Manager of Sherwin Williams, Jane Ryder, has been appointed to BHETA’s DIY Committee.

Jane is a well-known figure in the DIY industry having worked in the sector for over twenty years, including eight years at Sherwin Williams and ten years at Valspar, where she was European Marketing and Development Director. The Sherwin-Williams Company delivers the best in paint and coatings products to the world with more than 64,000 employees globally.

The role of BHETA’s home improvement (DIY) committee role is to represent and protect members’ interests. The Committee, chaired by Jon Langford from Croydex also has directors from QEP Vitrex, Shurtape, Spear & Jackson, Trend Machinery, Duracell, Holden Décor, Monument Tools, Assa Abloy and Einhell.

Commenting on Jane’s appointment, Will Jones, BHETA Chief Operating Officer, said: “Jane brings with her great experience at a senior level which will be of huge value to the DIY committee, as they advise on initiatives to take the DIY industry forward.”
