
We’re thrilled to announce that Steve Law, Commercial Director of Charles Bentley & Son Ltd, has joined BHETA’s DIY Committee!
Steve brings an impressive wealth of experience to this role, having held senior commercial positions at leading brands such as Irwin Tools, Hall Beeline, Hamilton Acorn, Fiskars Group, and Amefa. Throughout his career, he has driven business growth and innovation across key European markets, including Finland, France, Germany, Holland, and Poland.
At Charles Bentley & Son Ltd, the UK’s largest manufacturer of brushware products, Steve has played a pivotal role in expanding iconic brands like Bulldozer, Gripit, and MarXman into major UK retailers. Under his leadership, the company has bolstered its presence in DSV and Marketplace channels, helping over 20 major retailers offer direct-to-consumer solutions in the home and garden sector.
Welcoming Steve to the committee, BHETA DIY Sector Manager, Steve Edwards, said: “Steve’s extensive knowledge and experience in the home improvement sector will be a fantastic asset to the DIY Committee. BHETA’s DIY Committee is dedicated to representing and protecting the interests of DIY and home interest members, working on initiatives to support and develop the home improvement industry. The committee, chaired by Jon Langford of Croydex, also includes directors from QEP Vitrex, Shurtape, Spear & Jackson, Duracell, Holden Décor, Monument Tools, and Sherwin-Williams.
