BHETA Webinar – Sustainable Packaging development
Packaging is currently a hot topic for UK suppliers with consumers, retailers and Government all demanding more sustainable alternatives: consumers are increasingly choosing brands who operate responsibly in all areas including packaging; retailers such as Tesco have introduced demanding packaging standards; and the Government is introducing significant cost pressures with the 2022 Plastic Tax and a proposed revamp of the Packaging Waste Regulations, which could have significant cost increases for our members.
On Tuesday 8th June at 2:30pm, BHETA are pleased to welcome Tracy Sutton and Sarah Greenaway from the sustainable packaging company, Root, who will be providing insights into the changing market place and thoughts on sustainable packaging strategies to ensure your brand’s future.
Root work in partnership with many UK brands to create low-impact circular packaging solutions and blueprints for business sustainability: “Sustainable packaging isn’t a box ticking exercise. It is integral to your brand’s future. It is integral to the planet’s future survival. We are independent which means we will objectively critique all aspects of the packaging cycle. From legislation to implementation, we pride ourselves on providing clear, workable and immediate actions”.
Founder and lead expert Tracy Sutton set up Root in 2013 to help organisations use less and focus on becoming regenerative, inclusive and kinder to people and our planet.
A regular speaker at international conferences and a respected commentator in the national and trade media, Tracy is a high-profile industry expert at the forefront of innovative and sustainable packaging design with twenty years of hands-on knowledge.
