BHETA Hosts High-Impact Meet the Buyer with Decco, Driving New Supplier Opportunities

On Thursday 18th September, the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA) hosted a highly successful Meet the Buyer event with Decco Ltd at the Manor Hotel, Solihull. The day brought together nine of Decco’s senior buyers and 30 supplier companies spanning housewares, DIY, and gardening, in a dynamic format designed to spark new listings, partnerships, and growth opportunities.

The carefully structured event enabled suppliers to pitch their latest products directly to Decco’s experienced buying team in a series of one-to-one meetings. This format ensured that every conversation was focused, relevant, and commercially driven - with many suppliers leaving with tangible leads and clear next steps.

Steve Edwards, BHETA’s Sector Manager for DIY & Gardening, who organised the event, said:
“I would like to thank the Decco team for taking part in the event. It was great to see so many BHETA members in attendance. These events succeed by everybody understanding the brief from the Buyers and reacting to it. This happened particularly well at this event, and we now look forward to seeing the success for all parties.”

Fellow Sector Manager for Housewares & Small Electricals, Seema Grantham, was also present, offering support to members and engaging with suppliers throughout the day to ensure they maximised the opportunity.
