Make it Zero, the sustainability initiative driving climate action in the DIY sector, is set to host a free webinar spotlighting three practical approaches to tackling Scope 3 emissions. The event brings together industry leaders who will share real-world strategies and lessons learned in their decarbonisation journeys.
This event will aim to reinforce the DIY industry’s growing commitment to collaborative climate action, offering a platform for shared learning and progress toward a more sustainable future. Experts from CEPE, Kingfisher, and AR Shelving will take centre stage to outline how their organisations are measuring and reducing emissions throughout their value chains — a notoriously complex challenge known as Scope 3.
Featured speakers include:
- Karthik Kumar (CEPE), presenting the Product Environmental Footprint Initiative for the paint industry.
- Laurence Turnbull (Kingfisher), discussing Kingfisher’s path to a net zero target.
- Iñaki Bringas Fernandez (AR Shelving), sharing insights from the D-Carbon green steel initiative.
The session aims to equip attendees with practical knowledge on emissions accounting, climate target setting, and sector-specific strategies to reduce environmental impact. A live Q&A will follow the presentations, allowing participants to engage directly with the speakers.
The webinar builds on the success of previous Make it Zero sessions, including introductions to the initiative and carbon accounting fundamentals. A recording will be available on the Make it Zero website following the event.
