Specialist tool manufacturer, Maun Industries, has joined BHETA. Maun has been making pliers since 1944 with a unique design where the jaws always move in parallel. This provides an even grip along the entire jaw, allows wire to be threaded through the plier throat and enables a superior grip with less effort.
The company offers a range of parallel-action pliers as well as a collection of other task-specific tools. Maun also develops bespoke tools for corporate customers. Based in purpose-built premises in Sutton in Ashfield, Nottinghamshire, the company employs a skilled team of engineers, machinists and assemblers turning high-grade steels into innovative, problem-solving pliers and other specialist tools.
