BHETA has welcomed Law Distribution to its network as a new Business Support Provider, bringing specialist logistics expertise to members across the DIY, tools and wider retail sectors.
A family-owned logistics business, Law Distribution provides UK and European transportation, 350,000 sq ft of ambient warehousing and specialist third-party logistics (3PL) services.
The company has particular expertise in supporting power tool and hand tool businesses supplying major DIY retail groups, offering tailored logistics solutions designed around the operational needs of its customers.
With a fleet of 60 vehicles and 100 curtain-sided trailers, Law Distribution works across a range of sectors including retail, hospitality and drinks, food production, household electronics and pharmaceuticals. The business has built long-standing relationships with major retailers and brands, with a focus on reliability, flexibility and developing bespoke logistics solutions.
For BHETA members, Law Distribution offers specialist knowledge of the challenges involved in managing logistics for businesses supplying the DIY and tools market. Its 3PL services are designed to provide dedicated support, helping businesses manage their logistics requirements while maintaining the service levels expected by major retail customers.
The company attributes its growth to its ability to make rapid decisions, remain agile and continually invest, while building strong, long-term relationships with its customers.
As part of its BHETA membership, Angela Carus, Managing Director of Law Distribution, will bring extensive experience across logistics and retail to the BHETA network. Angela has more than 30 years’ experience in senior industry roles, including positions with Gist, Kuehne + Nagel, Norbert Dentressangle, Wincanton, Culina and Boughey Distribution.
Having worked with numerous retailers and high-street brands to develop bespoke logistics programmes, Angela brings a strong understanding of the operational pressures facing retailers and the importance of developing logistics services around individual business requirements.
