
The Times reports that Dunelm would like “to open its first stores in the inner boroughs of London after the homewares chain reported its highest sales growth rate in the capital last year.”Dunelm reported strong growth numbers for the 26 weeks to December 30, with sales value up by 4.5% to £872.5 million, driven by volume growth up by 6%.The retailer reported growth in customer numbers in all geographical regions, age groups and income groups up to £100,000 per annum. The highest rates of growth had been achieved in the 16-24 age group and in the London area.
