Kinetico, based in Hampshire, aim to get people to ‘rethink’ how they consume bottled water. Founded in 1970, the company built the world’s first demand-operated, twin-tank, non-electric water softener, revolutionising the water treatment industry overnight. These days, Kinetico is an Axel Johnson Inc. company, but the same founding principles of innovation, creativity and forward-thinking are still the foundations of everything we do.
Sheffield-based Footprint Tools manufactures professional quality hand tools and can trace its roots back to the 1760s when it was a supplier of wood boring tools to the Royal Navy under the trading name, Alfred Ridge. The invention of the Footprint wrench in 1875 and the founding of the original Footprint Works in Sheffield in 1900 set the course for the company it is today. Arta Broch manufactures for some of the largest ceramics brands in the world from its factory in Mumbai, specialises in producing fine pure whites, which can be supplied plain or hand painted. It also uses colour infusion processes to create vivid ranges of brightly coloured china, which stay bright regardless of usage.
