The RDT moves to new offices

RDT Update: The Rainy Day Trust has been working from the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham for many years. Since 2015 we have quadrupled the number of people that we help every year and aim to grow further in the coming years, developing new programmes and providing a broader range of help to meet the complex needs of our beneficiaries. We will be talking to you very soon about how we plan to work alongside your HR teams to make their lives easier. This growth now means that we have outgrown our current accommodation and need to move. We have now moved to new offices in Stoke Prior near Bromsgrove, maintaining our historic links to the West Midlands. The new offices are larger with more flexibility for us to grow and develop. The work that we are doing is incredibly important to the lives of the people that it touches and so we have to be ready to adapt and meet changing needs; the new office will allow us to do that. We have more storage space and can host meetings. The move will also help us save money on non-charitable activity which is vitally important as we always want to drive down our core costs and drive up the amount that we spend giving the help where it is so desperately needed. We are now settling in to our new space, so please direct any post to our new address, although our mail from Vyse Street is being re-directed. Obviously, our e-mail addresses will remain the same. Our new contact information is:The Rainy Day Trust8 The Courtyard Harris Business ParkHanbury RoadStoke PriorB60 4DJ01527 872545This is an exciting time for us as we grow and aim to work up new support programmes, helping you and your teams and I hope that you will be working alongside us as we grow. We would like to say a huge "Thank You!" to BHETA, Kitchencraft, Centurion Europe, Burg-Wachter and Stax Trade Centres for the furniture, safe, signage and office items that they have donated to make the move a lot easier, and also to Calor for the manpower to make the move go so smoothly.Contact:Bryan Clover FRSAChief Executive OfficerRainy Day TrustTel: 0121 237 1101 Mob: 07939 541289e-mail: bryan@rainydaytrust.org.uk
