BHETA would like to extend a warm welcome to Dan Bieny, Yale's Retail Sales Director UK&I, who has joined the BHETA DIY Committee.The home improvement (DIY) committee's role is to represent and protect members’ interests, assisting with their commercial success and adding value to their businesses. The Committee, chaired by Jon Langford, Managing Director of Croydex, meets quarterly.Dan is the Sales Director UK&I for the retail business unit at Yale. He is well known throughout the consumer electronics and IT distribution market having worked with many customers, suppliers, and distributors representing brands such as Amazon, Google, Hive, Hue and TP-Link across the Smart Home and Consumer networking categories.Dan’s career started within B2B technology sales which then developed into commercial management and strategy setting roles. Dan then moved into retail, ecommerce and marketplace GTM and business performance management roles to further his understanding of a multi-channel business.Dan joined Yale in the summer of 2022, bringing with him a wide knowledge of Smart Home and GTM strategy setting. Yale welcomed Dan as it continues to invest in the huge growth of Smart Home security, door access and possession security.Dan welcomes discussions with BHETA’s members on a rapidly changing retail and b2b landscape, the latest consumers trends and how your financial strategy is pivotal to executing a great GTM plan.Welcome Dan!
