Lyon Equipment joins BHETA
Work and rescue equipment manufacturer and distributor, Lyon Equipment is the latest company to join the British Home Enhancement Trade Association (BHETA). Its membership will focus on its Petzl UK business.
For more than 30 years Petzl has led the way as an innovator in the research, design and manufacture of quality headtorches, initially for the caving and mountaineering sector, but now with a range of high tech products designed for work environments where darkness or challenging conditions are commonplace.
Lyon Equipment traces its origins back to the manufacture of caving ladders in 1965. Based in Cumbria it now employs 80 people, has an annual turnover in excess of £17 million and operates across the manufacturing, outdoors, work and rescue and training sectors.
