The Home Depot to headline at BHETA forum

BHETA is to hold one of its popular networking forums on 16th October 2018 featuring The Home Depot’s Managing Director of European Sourcing, Massimiliano Zampella as one of the main speakers.

The American home improvement retail giant aims to supply all home improvement and garden product requirements and has over 2000 stores in the US. The Home Depot offer ranges from hand tools, construction products, and services to appliances, decorating and flooring, kitchen and bathroom ideas, patio furniture, power tools, to bbq and garden. Massimiliano will be presenting his views on the current market and latest consumer and retail trends together with an overview of the future strategic direction and focus of the Home Depot team in 2019 and beyond. He will also be highlighting the opportunities for UK suppliers and how best they can interact with The Home Depot to deliver future growth.

BHETA’s home improvement sector director, Paul Grinsell commented, “Retailing continues to move fast, driven by different shopping habits and ever more advanced technology for the consumer. This forum will provide BHETA members with an invaluable insight into the opportunities for trading with The Home Depot and developing this route to market.”

Housewares sector director, Will Jones added, “Of course we anticipate a big turnout, so the event will also afford excellent networking opportunities for all members. The forum will start at 10.00 am at Federation House with registration from 9.15 am. Be sure to put the date in your diary.”
