HIMA is the Home Improvement Manufacturers Association, an international network of suppliers and manufacturers belonging to Home Improvement, DIY, Gardening, Building Materials and Furniture industries. Created in March 2000 by BHETA (United Kingdom), Herstellerverband Haus & Garten (Germany) and Inoha (France). Hima Benelux (formerly Febin) (Belgium), MADE4DIY (Italy), AFEB (Spain) and IVG (Germany) have also joined the federation in recent years. They represent 78% of the European home improvement market with around 1,000 member companies.
