The Great British Pitch USA

UK businesses looking to expand into the American market are being invited to take part in the Great British Pitch USA, a unique one-day event designed to connect ambitious brands directly with buyers from one of the world's largest consumer markets.

Organised by Small Business Britain in partnership with the Department for Business and Trade (DBT), the Great British Pitch is designed to help small businesses overcome the barriers to exporting by providing practical guidance, expert support and, most importantly, the opportunity to pitch their products directly to international buyers. The initiative forms part of a wider programme to build a pipeline of confident, export-ready businesses and create new opportunities for UK brands to grow overseas.

Taking place on Tuesday 8 September 2026 in Central London, the event will bring together approximately 50 UK small businesses for a full day of pitching, learning and networking. Each participating business will have the opportunity to present its products to buyers from across the USA, opening the door to valuable commercial conversations and potential export partnerships.

Alongside the pitching sessions, attendees will benefit from a programme of expert talks, interactive workshops and one-to-one mentoring, offering practical advice on exporting, entering new markets and developing a successful international growth strategy. The day will conclude with a networking reception, providing further opportunities to build relationships with buyers, fellow business owners and industry experts.

The event follows the success of the inaugural Great British Pitch, which welcomed more than 100 small businesses and connected them with buyers from over 20 countries. Several participating brands secured export opportunities, while many others left with valuable contacts, increased confidence and ongoing discussions with international buyers.
