The Flooring Show South in Sandown 2027

Most trade shows are created by organisers. The Flooring Show South was created because suppliers asked for it. Flooring brands approached the organisers wanting a dedicated way to reach customers across southern England. In April 2027, the show returns to Sandown Park for its second year.

Bringing southern buyers closer
For many retailers, contractors and fitters in London, the South East and the South West, travelling to a show in the north means time out of the business and extra travel and hotel costs. The Flooring Show South removes those barriers. It’s a focused two-day event in Surrey, close to the M25 and the large southern market.

For suppliers, that means meeting southern customers who may not travel north for the main show in Harrogate. Sandown Park was chosen because it’s easy to reach and easy to get around, so visitors can spend their time on the show floor meeting suppliers.

A strong first year
The launch show in April 2026 showed how much demand there was. Exhibitors booked more than half the space before the floorplan was finished, so the organisers added more room. Only a few stands were left before the doors opened.

More than 100 brands were expected at the first show. Exhibitors included major flooring manufacturers such as Cormar, Karndean, Tarkett and Balta, as well as distributors such as Headlam Brands and Mercado.

Not just for flooring manufacturers
The show is also relevant to many BHETA members in the DIY and tools sectors. Last year’s exhibitors included specialists in tools, trims, stair rods, matting, protective treatments and installation products, such as Truu Tools, Kleen-Tex, Stairrods, Kensington Trims and Stainshield.

Every flooring job needs tools, adhesives, underlay and finishing products. The fitters and retailers walking the aisles are looking for products that make installation faster, easier and better. If you supply the trade, this is your audience.

Launch your new products
Spring is a great time to introduce new ranges, and the Flooring Show South provides a focused setting to do it. At the first show, exhibitors used Sandown to show off new collections and premium product ranges to southern buyers for the first time.

Visitors come for product displays, expert insights and hands-on training. They’re ready to learn, compare and try products, which makes the show ideal for live demonstrations and explaining what makes your product different.

Relaxed networking
The racecourse setting makes for a relaxed atmosphere. On the first evening, exhibitors and visitors can meet at a drinks reception from 17:00 in the Parade Ring Networking Bar, which overlooks the famous parade ring. It’s an ideal time to follow up conversations from the show floor.
