Toolstation to open first pilot stores in Belgium

According to DIY International.com, Travis Perkins Group is looking to expand its Toolstation business into Belgium this year. It already has a Belgian website and the pilot stores are expected to be supplied by the new distribution centre located in the Netherlands.

Toolstation has accelerated its expansion there too, increasing its network in the Netherlands from 12 to 32 branches.

In France, Toolstation already has eight outlets in the pilot region around Lyon following five new openings.
