From October 2024, employers will be under a new statutory duty to take “reasonable steps” to prevent sexual harassment within the workplace. BHETA Support Provider, Worknest, will provide a webinar on this topic on Tuesday, 3 September at 11.00am – 12.00pm
Over the next month, we expect the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC) to publish its draft statutory code of practice relating to this duty, telling us what’s expected of employers and HR professionals in order to comply.
Hosted by Employment Lawyer and HR Training Manager Lorna Gemmell and Principal Employment Law Adviser and Solicitor Heather Grant, this free 60-minute session aims to help you to understand how to prepare for this change, the steps you can take to ensure the safety of your employees, and the consequences of falling short.
Date: Tuesday, 3 September at 11.00am – 12.00pm
