New gift voucher initiative called Exclusively Gift is launched.
At an exhibitor briefing event organised by BHETA for this year’s Exclusively Shows, a new gift voucher initiative called Exclusively Gift was launched as a tool for generating business at the event.
A joint initiative between Exclusively and the British Independent Retailers Association (bira), the Exclusively Gift vouchers have a value of £100 and can be used by bira members to open accounts with participating exhibitors or develop existing ones.
The new initiative follows on from the success of the 2018 bira bonus, which incentivised new, lapsed and regular visitors to spend at the show, and had a better than expected redemption level.
Over 900 Exclusively Gift vouchers will be sent to bira retail members, registered to attend the show, and operating in the housewares, SDA, gift and lifestyle sectors. The voucher offers a real benefit for exhibitors, requiring no contribution and offering the opportunity to open new accounts and build business in new target retail sectors.
The ‘Exclusively Gift’ Voucher is one of many reasons that will draw buyers to this year’s Exclusively Shows. In a packed two days, visitors will focus on new products from over 125 exhibitors, including 16 new exhibitors in Exclusively Housewares and five in Exclusively Electrical.
Trend forecasters Scarlet Opus will also return in 2019 with trend displays in the trend hub, housed in the atrium above Exclusively Electrical, trend tours and trend talks.
Will Jones, BHETA Director of Housewares commented, “Exclusively yet again promises to be an exciting and stimulating event for the industry. It is also great that with bira’s help, the shows can once again support the independent sector with this excellent visitor incentive. This offer highlights our commitment to both exhibitors and visitors alike and I am confident that it will contribute to another successful show.”
