BHETA sponsors exciting new content at Exclusively shows
BHETA is to sponsor an exciting new programme of content at this year’s Exclusively Housewares and Exclusively Electrical Shows, all dedicated to exploring the latest predictions for consumer trends for Christmas 2017 and going forward into 2018.
This year Exclusively is adding a new feature, ‘Tomorrow’s Kitchen’ to its visitor offer, which will be created on the Atrium level of the Gallery Hall. Designed to appeal to visitors of both Exclusively Electrical and Exclusively Housewares, its aim is review the latest technological, lifestyle and design advancements within the domestic kitchen, and look ahead to what the future holds.
The product demo facility will also be an integral part of the ‘Tomorrow’s Kitchen’ feature and the area will be designed to showcase not only the latest ‘smart’ built-in appliances, but also give exhibitors from both shows the chance to highlight product developments which affect their sector of the small domestic appliance or housewares market.
Trends forecaster, Scarlet Opus will again be working with BHETA to provide a brief on key consumer and design trends, organising ‘Trend Tours’ and selecting ‘On Trend’ product from exhibitors to feature at the shows. The On Trend display area will give retailers ideas on how to translate forecast trends into practical merchandising. The Trend Tours will be based around the ranges and products submitted by exhibitors and assessed by Scarlet Opus.
Selected products will also be included in the Trend Display area, identified on stand and flagged up in the show preview, show catalogue and show signage.
BHETA’s sector director of housewares, Will Jones explained, “This is a very exciting opportunity for suppliers, retailers and opinion formers in the media, with Exclusively Housewares and its sister show Exclusively Electrical already having established a reputation for predicting commercial opportunities for the year ahead. The event will be a fantastic chance to understand trends evolving from season to season – a not to be missed insight for designers, manufacturers, importers, distributors, retail buyers and all those key consumer influencers in the media.”
To help exhibitors make the most of the Exclusively opportunities, BHETA is hosting a morning of Exclusively-themed presentations aimed at its members on March 1 at Federation House.
