UK Data Protection – are you compliant?

BHETA is pleased to announce we will be hosting a webinar with Howes Percival on Thursday 29th February at 2:00pm, presented by  Jenna Bruce and Stephen Ruse.

This session is intended as an introduction and overview of the UK data protection regime, including a reminder of core areas of compliance and an update on recent changes.  The agenda will cover:

  • Why does data protection matter?
  • What rights do people have?
  • What impact does data protection compliance have on contracting?
  • What impact does it have on marketing (including e-communications)?
  • What is a data breach and what should we do?
  • What if we get it wrong?
