International Hardware Fair

Save the date – The INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR will take place from 1 to 4 March 2020.

DEADLINE TO APPLY – 3rd January 2020.

In 2020, the industry will be meeting up at the EISENWARENMESSE – International Hardware Fair in Cologne.

BHETA will be facilitating TAP Grants through the UKTI – We are pleased to announce that BHETA has secured a number of Exhibitor Grants from the Department for International Trade which help with £1500 towards the cost of exhibiting at the Eisenwarenmesse International Hardware Fair 2020 in Cologne.

The show is the world’s number 1 in the international hardware sector attracting 2,670 exhibitors from 55 countries and approximately 44,000 trade visitors from nearly 130 countries.

Eisenwarenmesse is THE meeting place for all manufacturers, distributors, purchasers and decision-makers of the hardware industry.

There are some rules and regulations regarding eligibility for the grant scheme so it is imperative that you read the terms and conditions before applying. 

Some examples of these are:

  • A participant must be a SME which is defined as a small and medium sized enterprise which has less than 250 employees and has an annual turnover not exceeding €50m or an annual balance sheet not totalling €43m.  
  •  Participants will be ineligible if they do not own the brand they are selling and the brand owner either already exports to the market concerned or withholds permission to export to that market.
  • Grant recipients are required to display GREAT branding on their stands, which is provided by the Trade Challenge Partner (TCP).
  • Grant recipients are required to report export wins to the TCP for a 12-month period following the exhibition.

Both of these forms need to be completed and returned to Nicola Adams-Brown nab@bheta.co.uk to complete your application.

The grants are limited in number, so we will be allocating them on a first come first served basis.
