Date(s) - 02/07/2020
10:30 am - 11:30 am

Do you know that from 2022 , whether you package in the UK or import, your packaging waste could costs see an increase of 200%

Be prepared and save money….

In the March budget, the Government announced a new consultation on packaging tax that is planned for 2022. If you manufacture or import more than 10 tonnes of plastic packaging in a twelve month period, and your packaging contains less than 20% recycled material this will affect you and will increase your costs considerably. The consultation ends on 22nd August 2020.

To explain more and keep our members informed of these changes we are pleased to announce our next webinar with BHETA Business Support Providers, Wastepack, on Thursday 2nd July 2020 at 10:30am.  Paul Van Danzig, Policy Director at Wastepack, will go through the changes to help you prepare and limit increased costs.

Following the 30 minute presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to Paul.
