BHETA are delighted to announce the return of our series of digital marketing webinars with Business Support Providers, Brew.

The first of these webinars will be taking place on Thursday 21st October at 2.30pm when Brew CEO, Andrew Rastall will be providing information on the following:

How to write an effective digital marketing strategy

Objective – To offer an overview of the key digital disciplines/channels & how they fit together in a typical strategy.
Suitable for – All members who do not have a full time professional marketeer on their team.
Timing – 25 minute presentation with 15 mins for questions

This webinar explains why writing a business’s digital marketing strategy is so critical to online success. This core skill is especially important for the marketing managers of BHETA members, who are operating in a commercial landscape that is increasingly focussed online. We’ll introduce example approaches to creating a digital marketing strategy and use these to explain what a digital strategy is (most businesses misunderstand strategy).

The webinar will contrast strategy with tactics and go on to outline the tactical elements that the marketing manager of an SME will need to consider in order to define their own digital marketing strategy. The session will build on some of the principles that were introduced in the original webinar on ‘How to start in e-commerce’. It will then lay the foundations for getting the most out of the upcoming webinars on Search Engine Optimisation , Pay Per Click marketing, Email marketing and Social Media.

This session is suitable for delegates who have never written a digital marketing strategy before. It’s also useful for experienced marketers looking to benchmark their current capabilities.

Attendees will be offered a ‘Strategy Framework’ download that will give delegates an idea of the elements they need to consider in order to create an effective digital marketing strategy.

Following the 20 minute presentation, attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to Andrew.
